The Huntsville facility manufactures the mechanical components of the atmospheric pressure matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (AP/MALDI) developed by our SESI R&D group in our headquarters in Columbia Md. Currently, over 100 systems are being produced annually. The AP/MALDI systems are sold worldwide including Europe and Japan.
